I’m Lori Donatelli and I’m a wife, mom-of-two, coffee loving, Instructional Innovation Coach in Virginia. This is my tenth year in education, and my first as a coach. I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Elementary Education and took a job two weeks later as an 8th grade English teacher. I spent the next 8 years teaching middle school English, and then made a change to 6th grade Science. This year I took a huge leap and took a position as an instructional coach, and while it’s been a huge learning curve, I absolutely love it!
I have a passion for education and am committed to supporting educators to keep up with our rapidly changing world. Many of the traditional teaching methods don’t meet the needs of our students. We need to be preparing them for a world of technology, innovation, communication, and problem-solving.
